    Screen repair, in store

  • I dropped it in the car park on a Tuesday morning and had written the phone off in my head by lunchtime. They took it in, quoted me on the spot and handed it back the same afternoon with the old panel in a bag so I could see what had actually broken.

    Alicia R.

    iPhone 14 Pro screen repair

  • It was down to twenty percent before lunch every single day and I assumed I was being sold a new battery whatever I said. They tested it in front of me first, showed me the health reading, then swapped it and had me out inside the hour.

    Tomas G.

    Galaxy S23 battery replacement

  • I put a full cup of coffee across the keyboard and had four years of work on there with no backup. They opened it the same day, cleaned the board properly rather than just drying it out, and every key on it still works months later.

    Priya N.

    MacBook Air liquid damage

  • The last place I used quoted one number on the phone and a different one at the counter. These people looked at the port, told me what it would cost before they touched anything, and that was exactly what I paid when I collected it.

    Kevin M.

    iPad 10th generation charging port

  • The back was shattered end to end and pieces of it were coming away in my hand. I left it with them on my lunch break, came back after work, and there is no seam and no gap anywhere on it. You would not know it had happened.

    Samuel O.

    Pixel 8 back glass repair

  • What actually decided it for me was the 90 day malfunction warranty, because I had been burned by a cheap repair before that failed inside a fortnight. Nothing has gone wrong with this one, but I would have had somewhere to go if it had.

iPhone Repairs at CELLTECH Arlington

The Parks Mall store handles the full set of iPhone repairs. Diagnostics are free and come first, because the symptom and the fault don't always match: a black screen can be a failed display on an iPhone that's otherwise fine, and slow charging can be a cable, a port or a battery.

Not sure what's wrong? Call (817) 538-9520, say what the iPhone is doing, and the team will check whether the part for your model is in stock.

Cracks radiating out from a single point across a sheet of black glass

iPhone Screen Replacement

A screen needs replacing when the glass is cracked, lines or dark blotches appear, touch stops answering in one area, or the display stays black while the iPhone still rings. The display assembly is replaced, then tested for touch and brightness before it's handed back.

Read iPhone screen black but still on, and see cell phone screen repair.

iPhone Battery Replacement

In Settings, tap Battery, then Battery Health. Maximum capacity near 80% or below, a "Service" message, or shutdowns with charge left are the usual signs of a worn battery. Hand-me-down iPhones often arrive with the original battery still inside, so a new battery can give an older iPhone a second life.

See Apple battery replacement, or read iPhone battery drain: diagnostics and solutions.

iPhone Charging Port Repair

USB-C on iPhone 15 and later, Lightning on iPhone 14 and earlier. Both fill with pocket and backpack lint until the plug no longer clicks in, and charging becomes a matter of holding the cable just so.

The port, the cable and the battery are all checked before a new port is quoted, since a cleaning is a much smaller job. See charging port repair and why a cell phone only charges at a certain angle.

iPhone Camera Repair

CELLTECH Arlington repairs front and back cameras. Blur that cleaning doesn't fix, a picture that wobbles, a black viewfinder or cracked lens glass can each trace to a different part, so every camera is tested before quoting.

See iPhone camera repair.

iPhone Back Glass Repair

How the back comes off depends on the model. Apple changed the design starting with iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, which makes the glass easier to replace on those and later models. Call with your model so the part can be checked, and test wireless charging and MagSafe at the counter afterward.

Water Damaged iPhone

A wet iPhone needs a proper diagnosis, not a quick part swap, so allow more time than a screen or battery repair. What you do in the first hour matters, and that's covered in the next section.

Tell the technician when it got wet and whether it was pool, lake or rain water, so the diagnosis starts in the right place. See water damage repair.

On a day out

iPhone Hurt at the Game, the Park or the Pool?

Arlington is where North Texas goes for games, rides and water parks, and an iPhone can take a hit along the way. A drop onto concrete at the stadium, a ride at Six Flags or an afternoon at the water park can leave you with a cracked screen or a wet iPhone. Here's what to do before you reach The Parks Mall.

01

If it got wet

  • Unplug any cable and don't charge it until it's completely dry.
  • Hold it with the port facing down and tap it gently against your hand to shake out water.
  • Leave it somewhere dry with moving air. Skip the rice, the hair dryer and the hot dashboard.
  • If the speaker crackles, the camera fogs or it stops charging, bring it in. Water resistance fades as an iPhone ages and is weaker still once the screen or back is cracked.

02

If it was dropped

  • Check the back and the camera lenses as well as the screen. One fall can crack all three.
  • Put clear tape over badly splintered glass so it doesn't cut you on the way here.
  • Back it up that evening if the screen still responds. Cracks spread, and touch can fail later.
  • If Face ID, a camera or the speaker behaves differently after the fall, mention it at the counter, so those parts are tested along with the glass.

Family iPhones

Repairing a Child's or Teen's iPhone

Many family iPhones are hand-me-downs, and they get dropped. A few things make a kid's iPhone repair go smoothly.

  • Bring the passcode. The technician needs to unlock the iPhone to test the screen, cameras and charging. If Screen Time limits are on, a parent may need to enter a code.
  • Leave Family Sharing and Find My alone. You don't need to remove the iPhone from your family group or erase it for a hardware repair.
  • Decide the budget before you come. For an older model, a screen plus a battery can still cost far less than a replacement, but compare the quote with the price of a newer hand-me-down. Read is it worth repairing a five-year-old cell phone.
  • Fix the reason it broke. A case with raised edges and a tempered glass protector cost far less than a second screen.

Sound faults

Callers Can't Hear You? Microphone and Speaker Faults

Sound faults are easy to mistake for a dead iPhone. Try these before assuming the worst.

If the problem remains, call (817) 538-9520 and describe it, and the team will tell you what can be done for your model. Read why an iPhone microphone stops working.

If the iPhone is still connected to AirPods, a car or a speaker, calls and music play there, not through the iPhone.

Lint and dust in the bottom grilles and the earpiece muffle sound. Use a soft, dry brush. Don't poke with a pin.

They use different microphones. If one sounds fine and the other doesn't, tell the store which.

Some cases cover a microphone opening.

A thick or badly fitted protector can cover the earpiece grille at the top of the display, so callers sound faint at your ear.

If the caller sounds clear on speaker but not at your ear, the earpiece is the likely fault. If they can't hear you either way, it points to a microphone.

A restart clears a stuck audio setting, and Settings, General, Software Update installs any fix Apple has released.

If the sound changed after a drop or after the iPhone got wet, say so at the counter. Water in the grilles can muffle sound until it dries, and a fall can loosen the parts behind them.

Apple or CELLTECH

Apple or CELLTECH in Arlington?

There's no Apple Store inside The Parks Mall. Apple's Genius Bar service is available at its stores elsewhere in Dallas–Fort Worth, which you can find at apple.com/retail. CELLTECH is an independent repair provider inside The Parks Mall and isn't affiliated with or authorized by Apple.

CELLTECH may be the better fit when

  • Your iPhone is out of warranty, or the damage is accidental and not covered.
  • You'd rather not drive across the Metroplex or wait for a reservation.
  • You want a free diagnosis and a price before you decide.

Apple may be the better route when

  • Your iPhone is covered by Apple's limited warranty or AppleCare+. You can check at checkcoverage.apple.com.
  • You want the repair carried out through Apple with Apple's own parts.

Turnaround

How Long Does iPhone Repair Take in Arlington?

Many iPhone screen and battery repairs at CELLTECH Arlington take as little as 20 minutes when the part for your model is in stock. Charging port, camera and back glass repairs can take longer, and a wet iPhone needs more diagnosis. Most visitors hand the iPhone over, shop on Level 2 or see a movie, and collect it on the way out. Call (817) 538-9520 with your model to check parts first.

Pricing

How Much Does iPhone Repair Cost in Arlington?

The price depends on the model, the part and whether the same accident damaged anything else. OLED screens cost more than the LCD screens on models such as iPhone 11 and XR, and Pro and Pro Max parts sit at the higher end. CELLTECH inspects the iPhone and gives a clear quote before any work starts, and the price stays fixed once you approve it. Call with your model, or use Get a Repair Quote.
